Islamabad, the Capital City of Pakistan, nestles against the Margala Hills, the foothills of the Himalayas in northern Punjab. Modern, spacious and carefully planned, Islamabad is a city of wide, tree-lined streets, large houses, elegant public buildings and well organized markets. Traffic jams and crowds are rare, and sidewalks are shaded and safe behind rows of flame trees, jacoranda and hibiscus.
Roses, jasmine and bougainvilleas fill the many parks, and the panoramic viewpoints show the city to its best advantage, which altogether make Islamabad a heavenly place to reside in.
The city is also a great tourist attraction due to proximity to several hill stations and lush green valleys, such as Murree, Abbotabad, Kaghan, Swat, Skardu, Hunza etc.
Its convenient location, cosmopolitan environment and rapid economic development have highlighted the need for more accommodation and infrastructure. The government envisaging this has embarked upon ambitious plans to develop infrastructure projects and initiate real estate schemes.
